Just curious as I just started nystatin today for yeast overgrowth.

I am feeling a tad "strange" and am curious if I could already be having "die-off" symptoms or if I am just reading too much into this.

Die-off symptoms can start with a single dosage of an antifungal like what you are taking or Threelac.

Is threelac a product that can be used at the same time as nystatin?  Or do you need to do seperate courses of each?

I know of many people that have used both products at the same time.

There is no conflict between the two.

Heh, well while I have your attention, I'll ask some more questions!

How about alcohol?  Would drinking a non-grain alcohol like Rum be a bad idea when trying to get rid of candida?

Im not an expert but I have read many articles and books about candida overgrowth and many of them say to stay away from any kinda of alcohol or anything that contains any kind of yeast whatsoever.

No sugar, low carbs(which the body makes into simple sugars) no yeast, and lots of supplements (ie, probiotics, enzymes and a yeast eradicator (Threelac or whatever you may choose)). This seems to be the key to kicking the candida out of your system.
